Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find answers to common questions about purchasing a Maine Coon kitten from the Katrin Style cattery – covering documents, delivery, reservations, health, and care. Can't find your answer? Please contact us.

What documents do you provide for a kitten?

For each kitten, we provide a registration paper or pedigree from WCF/FIFe systems, a veterinary passport with records of vaccinations and treatments, as well as a sales contract. All animals in our cattery have proven lineage.

Is it possible to reserve a kitten?

Certainly! Reservations are secured with an advance payment (deposit), after which the kitten is marked as reserved and eagerly awaits its journey to your loving home. The remaining balance is settled prior to the kitten's transfer or delivery.

At what age does a kitten move to a new home?

Kittens move no earlier than 3 months of age — after a full course of vaccinations, litter box and scratching post training, and basic socialization. This ensures the move is safe for the kitten's health and psyche.

What health tests do our breeding cats undergo?

Our parent cats are tested for hereditary breed diseases — HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and PKD via DNA, and they also undergo regular veterinary check-ups. Results are available upon request.

How is a kitten delivered?

We ship kittens across Russia and internationally using trusted pet nannies and courier services. Delivery costs and duration vary by region — we calculate them individually. Each kitten travels with its documents, a veterinary passport, and a supply of their familiar food.

What is included in the cost of a kitten?

The cost includes the kitten itself, a package of documents (registration certificate or full pedigree), a veterinary passport with vaccinations, a sales contract, and a starter kit of food. We discuss the details individually.

Is the kitten litter-trained and accustomed to the scratching post?

Yes. By the time they move to their new homes, our kittens confidently use the litter box and scratching post, and are accustomed to high-quality food. We will provide recommendations on feeding and care.

Can I meet the kitten before purchasing?

Of course. We offer video calls, provide up-to-date photos and videos, and, if possible, invite you to visit our cattery. You will see the kitten and its living conditions.
